Athletic Director and head basketball coach Titus Nixon set up a surprise for the Deanda family at last night’s basketball senior night. Members of the Tallahassee Fire Department were invited to stand with SJPII basketball player Brad Deanda in place of his father, a former firefighter with TFD for 24 years who tragically passed away last month.

 

“Just because he’s gone doesn’t mean he’s forgotten or anything like that, and I know he would do it for my family so I’m here to do it for his family.” – Lt. Chad Teems of the Tallahassee Fire Department.
