Our students not only focus on their academics daily but are also faith-filled talented young men and women who serve and use their talents and God-given gifts outside of the classroom.  Virtually every day our students accomplish something great!

Congratulations to our Aerospace Engineering Club who competed this week in the finals of the Florida Astronaut Challenge at the Kennedy Space Center.  The Florida Astronaut Challenge is an annual event that enables high school students to show off their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) skills through team-based challenges, particularly in aerospace science. We are so proud of their hard work preparing for this competition and are so grateful to Mrs. O’Leary, the club’s moderator, for her time, talents and dedication.

Congratulations to our boys’ soccer team who placed second in the district and finished up the season by playing against  St. John’s Country Day in the regional quarter-finals.   They have exhibited hard work and determination to do their best on the field.

Our boys’ varsity basketball team continues to work together, and their talent is evident.  They finished up the regular season with a win over Franklin County with a score of 84-47.   They currently are ranked #3 in Class 3A in the State and have a record of 22-5.  They play in the district semi-final on Friday at North Florida Christian – please come out and support them in their post-season efforts.

Here at SJPII we have the Squirettes of Mary which is an organization that seeks to develop the spiritual, cultural, civic and social growth of young women to become Catholic leaders of tomorrow.  Nine students were inducted this week who will join their classmates to serve their family, school, and community.  Know ~ Love ~ Serve
