“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be grounded down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” – Address at World Youth Day, Rome (August 19th, 2000).

Our patron, St. John Paul II, has called us to excellence in all that we do, and to use the fellowship of our brothers and sisters in Christ to support us on our journey to salvation. As such, we intentionally build on our campus a community that is focused on the Gospel and Catholic Tradition, and we use these tools to guide our academic, athletic and arts programs. We are a Christian community of faith, of action, and of excellence.

“Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth—in a word, to know himself—so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves”
