Apply Today

We are thrilled you are considering St. John Paul II Catholic High School for your child’s next chapter.  At St. John Paul II Catholic High School, the application process is an important step in joining a community dedicated to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and human formation. Our admissions process is designed to ensure that each applicant is a good fit for our mission and values, and that we can meet the unique needs of every student.

  • Fill Out Our Application

    Apply Here

The application allows us to learn more about each prospective student— their academic background, talents, interests, and aspirations. It also provides families the opportunity to share why they feel St. John Paul II Catholic High School is the right choice for their child’s education.

Submit required Documents

  • Student Support Services

If your child is eligible for special services, please submit copies of their 504 Plan, Individualized Education Plan (IEP), and/or Matrix of Services. These documents are required if applicable and will help us determine if we can meet your child’s unique educational needs.

  • Recommendation Letters

As part of the application process, each student is required to submit two Recommendation Letters from a teacher or school administrator. At least one reference must be from a core subject teacher (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or World Language). References must be completed by the teacher or administrator and submitted directly through the secure link provided in the application.

  • Birth Certificate & Health Forms

A DH680 (Immunization Form), DH3040 (Florida School Entry Health Exam), and a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate are all required as part of the application process.

  • Student Conduct Records

As part of the application process, St. John Paul II Catholic High School requires behavioral records, including attendance, from current or previous schools. These records help us ensure applicants are prepared to thrive in our academically rigorous and faith-filled community.

  • Standardized Testing Scores

Standardized testing results from your child’s middle school years (6th–8th grade) or the most recent high school standardized testing results are required. Be sure to include any End-of-Course (EOC) exam results, such as Algebra I, Biology, or Geometry.

  • Transcripts

Your child’s most recent report card or transcript, including attendance records are required. If your child will complete any End-of-Course (EOC) exams before the start of the next school year and these are not reflected on the transcript, kindly indicate this information.

  • Take the Placement Test and Schedule a Family Interview

Finally, schedule a time for your child to take the placement test and for your family to participate in an interview. The standardized assessment complements the student’s transcript and helps determine appropriate course placement upon admission. The family interview provides an opportunity to discuss your goals, share your expectations, and explore how our school’s mission and values align with those of your family.

  • Waiting List

While we strive to welcome all applicants to St. John Paul II Catholic High School, we are unable to accept every student for a variety of reasons. In some cases, students who are not admitted may be placed on a waiting list. Admission from the waiting list depends on available vacancies and course placement needs. Please note that the waiting list is not ranked and remains active throughout the year.

Additionally, please be aware that athletes may not participate in practices or activities with any sports team until they have been officially accepted to the school.
